For expats · home country and new country

Half your paperwork is in another country.
Ask about all of it in yours.

The tax office back home still writes, to your parents’ address. The new country writes in a language you half read. KIAgent reads the letters you save, your mail and your chats, on your own computer, so ChatGPT or Claude can tell you what each one wants, in your language, with the original linked.

A letter from home, photographed by a parent, explained with last year’s papers found.
Two countries, two languages

You moved. Your paperwork didn’t.

Tax deadlines run from the date printed on the letter, not the day your mum finds it on the doormat. The bank at home reviews accounts of people who moved abroad. The new country wants your birth certificate apostilled and translated. And every reply has to be in someone else’s language.

The bank back home

Did your old bank write about your address?

Banks review accounts of customers who moved abroad, and the letter may go to an old address or sit unread in online banking. Ask, and find every message that mentions it, with a reply ready in your Outbox.

  • Bank emails and alert notifications found, read or not
  • Letters a relative photographed, read on your computer
  • A reply drafted for you to send, never sent by itself
An unread alert and a photographed letter, connected, before the account is at risk.
Saved and filed

Both countries’ letters, filed into one set of folders.

Save photos, scans and PDFs into Incoming, including the ones family send you, and KIAgent reads each one and moves it into your folders by rules you write in plain English, whichever language it’s in.

  • Rules in your own words
  • Letters read in either language, filed by what they say
  • Ordinary folders you can open, back up or hand to an adviser
  • If a file can’t be filed, it’s shown to you, never lost
Incoming: two countries of letters filed side by side.
Certificates for the new country

Which documents are apostilled and translated, and which aren’t?

A permit or a marriage abroad wants certificates from home, often apostilled and translated. Ask what you have, and get each certificate with what’s already done, before you need someone back home to order a fresh copy.

  • Birth, marriage and degree certificates found
  • Which have an apostille or a certified translation
  • Gaps named while there’s time to order from home
Three certificates, and the one that still needs work from home.
How it works

Save, add, ask.

01

Save every letter

Photos and scans, including the ones family send you, into your Incoming folder, even from your phone via iCloud or Google Drive. KIAgent files them.

02

Add every inbox

Your mail from home and from here, WhatsApp and Telegram. Read on your computer, in any language.

03

Ask in your language

In ChatGPT or Claude: what does this want, by when, what do I have. Every answer links the original.

Every message, sorted

Two countries’ offices and banks. One list.

Mail and chats from both countries land in Messages, sorted from your work and personal mail into Life admin, with bills and notices marked, whatever language they’re in.

  • Every mail account, WhatsApp and Telegram in one list
  • Sorted into Work, Personal and Life admin on your computer
  • Notices, bills and statements marked as what they are
  • Your AI can search all of it, in any language
Messages, Life admin: home and new country, two languages, one list.
Filing in two countries

Every account statement you report each year, gathered.

Some home countries want to know about your accounts abroad, every year. Ask for the year’s statements and get them from both countries’ mail and folders, with gaps named, ready for you or your adviser.

  • Statements from banks in both countries, by year
  • Gaps named before the deadline
  • You or your adviser file; KIAgent finds the paper
A year of statements, with the one from the closed account named.

No bank or tax portals, and no SMS: 2FA codes and portal messages stay where they are

Your documents, your computer

Two countries of documents don’t belong in another cloud.

Everything KIAgent reads stays on your own computer. When you ask your AI about a letter, only what the answer needs goes to it, and every lookup is on the record.

Your documents stay on your computer
Passports, certificates and bank statements are read and stored here, not on our servers.
Letters read on your computer
Text recognition for photos and scans runs locally. Nothing is uploaded to read them.
You decide what goes to your AI
When you ask ChatGPT or Claude, only the passages that answer needs go to it. Folders you don’t add are never read.
Every lookup is logged
See what your AI looked up, and when. Revoke an app’s access in one click.
Remove it, and it’s gone
Remove a folder or account and everything read from it is deleted too.
Open source
Read every line of what touches your documents.
Your AI asked — every request, every app, on your machine.
Honest answers

The questions a skeptic actually asks.

KIAgent reads them on your computer. When you ask ChatGPT or Claude, they explain the letter in your language from that text and link the original. It’s not a certified translation, and it’s not legal or tax advice: for anything with real consequences, ask the office or an adviser.

No. It can’t change where letters are sent or log into your bank or tax portals. It makes sure that when a letter does reach you, as a photo from family, a scan or an email, it’s read, filed and easy to find.

No. KIAgent doesn’t read SMS or iMessage. It reads mail, WhatsApp, Telegram and the files you save.

Pick any folder on your computer as Incoming, for example your iCloud Drive or Google Drive folder, and save photos or scans of your letters there from your phone. KIAgent reads each new one and files it by your rules. It doesn’t reach into your phone’s photo library by itself.

Only what an answer needs, when you ask through it, and every lookup is logged on your computer. Don’t add a folder you never want an AI to read from, or remove it later and everything read from it is deleted.

Yes. Everything on your own computer is free and open source. The only paid option is remote access, so ChatGPT or Claude on your phone can reach your computer, handy at the counter of the office.
