KIAgent reads them, in German, on your computer. When you ask ChatGPT or Claude, they explain the letter in English from that text and link the original, so you can check it. It’s a helpful explanation, not legal or tax advice: for anything with real consequences, ask the Ausländerbehörde, your university’s international office or a lawyer.

KIAgent runs on your laptop, where it reads and stores everything. With remote access, the paid option, ChatGPT or Claude on your phone can ask it questions from anywhere. Everything else is free.

The paper trail is similar: admission letters, visa documents, proof of funds, insurance, university mail. KIAgent reads them the same way. This page uses Germany because that’s where we’re based.

Pick any folder on your computer as Incoming, for example your iCloud Drive or Google Drive folder, and save photos or scans of your letters there from your phone. KIAgent reads each new one and files it by your rules. It doesn’t reach into your phone’s photo library by itself.

Only what an answer needs, when you ask through it, and every lookup is logged on your computer. Don’t add a folder you never want an AI to read from, or remove it later and everything read from it is deleted.
